Biography
Miranda trained at Guildford School of Acting and graduated in August 2009. On the Musical Theatre MA, Miranda played roles such as 'Zoe' in Charles Miller's 'When Midnight Strikes' and 'Maisie' in 'The Boy Friend' as well as appearing in the ensemble of 'Anything Goes' at The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford.
She previously spent three years training in Acting as part of the final intake at the prestigious Bretton Hall in Yorkshire, studying all aspects of acting. Whilst there she playing roles such as Lou in 'Erpingham Camp'' and one of the terrorists in 'Terrorism' as well as being involved in site-specific performance within the grounds of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Since graduating, Miranda has performed at The Landor Theatre as several comic characters in a spoof of Macbeth as well as Mary in a disco version of the Nativity. She also performed at The Watford Palace as a young girl wanting to join the circus and as a soloist in the incredibly popular ‘Thursford Christmas Spectacular’ in Norfolk. Miranda has also written, directed and performed in 'An Evening with Judy Garland' at the Compass Theatre, Ickenham.
She has expanded her skill base by taking classes at The Actors Centre and a screen acting course at Pinewood Studios as well as learning the alto saxophone.
Miranda has directed ‘You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’ twice, Godspell at the Wakefield Theatre Royal, Little Women at the Compass Theatre Ickenham and has co-directed Billy Elliot at the Watersmeet Theatre, Rickmansworth , The Jungle Book at the Beacon Centre and The Pirates of Penzance at the Compass Theatre Ickenham. She also writes solo cabaret and comedy material.
